Owner, Laura Gomez has 14 years of experience in the hair and makeup industry. She studied at academies in New York and San Francisco and did hair shows in Las Vegas. Beginning with just haircuts, Laura realized there was much more to hair than just a simple cut. She moved on to hair coloring and found her passion. With an education from The Redken Beauty Institute, Laura gained advance training in color, color corrections, makeup and much more.

Over 8 years, Laura worked hard to get all the knowledge she could. Finally, with her husband's help, she accomplished her dream of owning a salon. Laura and her husband, Jose Gomez opened their own salon called Trends.

After becoming a salon owner seven years ago, Laura inspired her husband, Jose to get involved with the team on a more internal level. In 2008, Jose attended Frederico’s Beauty Institute in Sacramento and the following year, joined the Salon team as a stylist. He also attended advanced training in hair sculpting and Redken hair colors and lighteners.

Now, the couple has many plans for Trends and sees the Salon becoming very successful.  They are looking positively toward the future and can't wait to help people look and feel their best!
